I was so busy in August I didn’t get to post this!
September 1, 2010 marks the release of my updated book, 101 Ways to Save Money on Health Care.
Today I want to thank everyone who has helped bring my message to the world.
Quoting myself (from the book), “This updated edition of 101 Ways to Save Money on Health Care would not have been possible without the efforts of Becky Cole, senior editor at Plume, who saw the need to bring this message to a wider audience, and of Nadia Kashper, who served as editor in Becky’s absence.” Thank you both, Laurie and Karen as well, and all those at Plume/Penguin working to get the word out.
Thanks, Mom, for supporting me every step of the way. Thanks to my daughters, Katrina and Celeste, for their enthusiasm and artistic input. Thanks Luke and Adam, for being too healthy to need this book. And how could I forget my golden-doodles, Labor and Waffles, who insisted I not sit at my computer all day? I love you all.
During this process I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with wonderful people. My gratitude to Terrie Wolf at AKA Literary for her friendship and assistance in navigating the publishing world, and to Neil Erickson for opening my eyes to greater possibilities.
And last, but most important, eternal thanks to my Creator for setting me on my journey, and for His daily love and guidance.

What’s the difference between the blog and the book? In my blog I have addressed more specific issues, relevant to smaller subsets of the population. The book is aimed at helping all Americans save money in areas common to every patient.
Happy savings!
